This is the “memory wall” at illusion hair design, which will close permanently after this Thursday (May 26), as first reported here in February. The final hours of the show will be a party, open house style, and in case you aren’t on the Illusions mailing list, here’s the invite:
Come help us celebrate our 44 years in business with our GOODBYE OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, May 26 from 1 to 6 p.m. We can’t guarantee we’ll have enough champagne to last the whole event (we’ll try!), but we can guarantee there will be cheers, LOTS of tears and an abundance of THANKS and loving goodbyes from us. !
If you haven’t seen our Wall of Memories yet (photos spanning decades, living room memorabilia, and more!), our OPEN HOUSE will be your LAST CHANCE to see it.
If you wanted one last chance to see us before you leave, it’s today! We can share stories and memories together one last time. We will also have special guests from past years today! (Yes… SUE, LINDA, NANCY & CHARLET are planning to be here!)
To everyone who has already said goodbye, sent cards, flowers and gifts… THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Illusions (5619 California SW) also announced plans for a light fixture, decor and more sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (corrected) June 18. It is closing because after more than 40 years, owner and co-founder Sue Lindblom is retiring and his staff has also decided to leave the salon.
