Ben Wardle, who won the prestigious Wella Trend Vision Gold Award in 2013, officially opened the doors to the new W Creative Lounge on Kimberley’s Main Street this week.

The 32-year-old founded the company in 2016 alongside his wife Rosey Butterworth-Wardle – with the brand new salon located directly across from their old premises.

The new space has a vibrant and spacious hair salon and also includes a nail bar, coffee bar and upstairs beauty salons overseen by former makeup artist MAC Rosey and her team.

In total, there is a team of 16 staff, including full-time and freelance members.

Ben said, “I hope this will be a place that can be enjoyed by current and new customers.

“I live locally and there is nothing like this quality in the area.

“I wanted to create something a little different and show that you don’t have to be based in city centers to get fantastic hair treatment and be welcomed into a space as welcoming as this.

The new lounge even has its own café-bar.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve created and can’t wait for our customers to see it.

After 14 years in the business, Wardle is thrilled to finally own his own salon and fulfill his “creative dream”, having previously rented properties in the area for the past five years.

W Creative’s new home is now the second property in Wardle’s portfolio in his quest to help reinvigorate downtown Kimberley.

His real estate company Gray House Developments and business partner Ryan Doherty have already successfully renovated a business on Main Street in the past year, installing the modern Farm Fresh Market organic fruit and vegetable store with residential and office space. above.

Ben added: “We want to reinvigorate the main street and bring new life to it and bring people to the area.”

Reservations for the show, located at 64 Main Street, can be made on 0115 8774817.

Clients are also invited to check out the team’s work on Instagram @WCreativeSalon.
