“I like everything small because I travel all the time,” Soo Joo Park, globe-trotting model, spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris and annual Cannes Film Festival participant, shares while filming her episode. of “5 in 5‘ for United Kingdom. “I’ve already had three interviews today, so I just want to freshen up a bit.”

Unsurprisingly, the Asian-American model has pared down her travel beauty essentials to an expert edit: a caffeinated eye serum that you can apply over concealer (“It’s like an espresso for my eyes “), an electric face sculpting massager cheekbones, a hyaluronic acid-an infused foundation to apply with your fingers, a Frédéric Malle mini perfume, and of course a good old hairbrush.

“I use this hairbrush which has very soft bristles so it won’t damage your hair,” the 36-year-old tells us. “I used to bleach my hair for over ten years and it was especially important to have this when my hair was bleached.”

A wholesome respect for the moisturizing powers of hyaluronic acid (in eye serum, face massage gel, foundation and well, everything) plus a secret perfume application trick and Park has it all what she needs to travel from Cannes to New York, and back again.

‘Before I leave, I spray some perfume. It’s by Frédéric Malle and it’s my favorite perfume right now. I just spray a little on my wrists, I put it behind my ears and sometimes on my elbows. It smells of orange blossom, it’s not too floral and it’s quite creamy, that’s how I like to describe it.

Inevitably, Park is called to her next work appointment, refreshed and ready to go. “And then I’m ready to go!” I’m leaving for more interviews and meetings with the press, so see you later! »
