A hairdresser from Evesham is in the running for a prestigious award.
Let Lew of Let Lew Hair Design has been shortlisted for Midlands Hairdresser of the Year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2022.
Ley submitted four photos demonstrating his work which saw him qualify for the final round of judging, which will take place in September and will require him to submit four more images.
“It’s such a proud moment for me,” Let said.
“These awards always bring together such exceptional talent and to see my name alongside my fellow finalists is breathtaking.
“I would like to take home a trophy and hope the judges recognize the love and hard work that has gone into my collection.”
Now in their 38th year, the awards aim to celebrate the achievements of designers across the UK.
The most anticipated award of the night – British Hairdresser of the Year – is by nomination only and is considered by many to be the industry’s highest honor.
Judged anonymously by over 100 top hairdressers, all winners will be announced at a black tie event on Monday November 29 at Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London.
