A city hairdresser celebrates after being deemed superior to the competition at a Scotland-wide awards ceremony.
Tony Christopher’s hair salon in Castle Street, Inverness has been named North West Hair Salon of the Year at the 10th Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards, held at the Double Tree by Hilton in Glasgow.
Salon founder Tony Christopher Pollock was also recognized by the jury and highly commended in the National Stylist of the Year category, which was won by Bathgate hairstylist Emma Smith.
Mr Pollock and his colleagues took the opportunity to attend their first live event since the start of the pandemic and were delighted to have been rewarded for their long trip to Glasgow.
“It means a lot to our small team to win these awards after a very turbulent few years,” Mr. Pollock said.
“We cannot thank all of our customers enough for their continued support and look forward to continuing to create fabulous hairstyles for them.”
