From buns to braids, the hair pro has a huge variety of hairstyle ideas and walked through five of her favorites with us.

Not only are the styles suitable for school, but they’ll also be perfect for the heat wave that’s just around the corner.

Extra volume chignon

  • Put your hair in a high ponytail
  • Distribute the hair on the headband to form a “bun” and secure with a scrunchie
  • With the ends of the hair, create two twisted braids and wrap them around the scrunchie
  • Secure with a bobby pin or two and some hairspray

curly braids

  • Divide the hair into two sections, as if you were going to make simple pigtails
  • Next, divide one half into two sections – an upper part and a lower part
  • Secure the top half with a hairband, then create a hole in the middle of the hair, before the hairband, and thread the ponytail through.
  • Make a ponytail with the lower part of the hair, incorporating the rest of the ponytail above, and again loop it through
  • Repeat on the other side

Bow-tiful

  • Start by putting her hair in a high ponytail and securing it with a hairband
  • When last through the headband, do not pull the hair out completely
  • With the ‘bun’ that remains, divide it into two sides
  • With the rest of the hair that is on the top of the head, bring it back to the center of the fixed hair
  • Secure with bobby pins to create a bow shape

low bun

  • First tie her hair in a low ponytail
  • On the last pass, do not pull the hair all the way – leaving a bun shape with a “tail” of hair
  • Pull the headband down slightly and make a hole in the hair above the headband
  • Wrap the bun in the hole
  • Gather the rest of the “tail” of hair and tuck it in
  • Gather the top and secure it with a scrunchie

  • Put the middle section in a ponytail and secure it with a headband
  • Braid the other two sections of the hair
  • Use a headband and tie the two braids together above the ponytail
  • Using your fingers, twist the bottom of the braided section and pull the ponytail through
