A BEAUTY pro thought she left the salon with her dream hairstyle.
But a day later, her bright orange hairstyle quickly became a mess.
A makeup artist named Lauryn Elisabeth shared her tragic hair story in a series of videos posted on her TikTok.
In the first video, Lauryn show after her adult black dye job, she then headed to the living room.
There, a hairstylist turned her hair a bright orange, which Lauryn said she was “obsessed with” in the video’s caption.
However, a few days later, she job an update with the caption: “I’ve been screaming my eyes out the last three days.”
In the video, Lauryn covered herself in a beanie and wrote the message, “Went to get my hair done. It was super curly and in natural light.”
But after washing it the day after visiting the salon, she said she “realized how bad it was”.
Her hair became frizzy and damaged, and the orange dye faded so much that her old black hair came back.
“My hair breaks into pieces. It’s stringy when wet. Doesn’t dry out. And don’t toss me into the mix,” Lauryn wrote.
She added that she is in the process of fixing it and will have to have several inches cut off due to the damage.
In the comments section, Lauryn joked “Washing my hair 24 hours or a week later doesn’t change the fact that she damaged my hair.
“The back is over-processed and fried.”
“My whole head is uneven and the bandage is crazy.”
She also revealed that since then her hairstylist has blocked her on social media and taken “no responsibility”.
Luckily, Lauryn said she was getting reimbursed for the shoddy job, which could have cost hundreds of dollars.
In other failed hair, a woman asked her hairstylist for golden blonde highlights, but the finished product was nothing like she asked for.
Also, another woman went to the salon for a cute, short haircut, but ended up with a cut that makes her look like a “little boy.”
