Shaun Hall was shortlisted again for Midlands Hairdresser of the Year and joins Olivia Birch for Eastern Hairdresser of the Year, Bayleigh Peace and Laura Scott for Mens Hairdresser of the Year, and Abbie Johnson for Newcomer.
The awards are a celebration of excellence in hairdressing, recognizing the exceptional creative and technical abilities of stylists from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The categories recognize the best hairdressers from nine UK regions, as well as outstanding talent in seven specialist categories, including Afro, Men’s, Avant Garde and Color Technician.
The event’s biggest award, British Hairdresser of the Year, is awarded only by nomination and is widely regarded as the industry’s biggest accolade.
These five finalists are just one of six in their respective categories, having submitted four photographic images demonstrating their hairstyling expertise, both in terms of technical skill and creative ability.
They must now submit two more images for the final judging round, which will take place in October. Both stages of judgment are independently audited and verified.
