Jeffrey LaMorte got his start in the haircare business he loves with his father, who owned salons. “In 1994, I opened my first salon and in 1997 I developed a day spa at the Frankfort and Orland Park sites. In 2007, I franchised a Lemont store to my brother Jason.

This family culture, says LeMorte, has fostered excellent relationships among its staff. “I am proud that we have a lot of employees who are still with us after many years. It also promotes a great relationship with the community.

The lounges welcome adults, students and children. Open seven days a week, the salons offer coloring, styling, cutting, scalp treatments and more by professional stylists and hair extensions by certified specialists. LaMorte says that care is taken to make the wave processes permanent and relaxants comfortable.

Lounges participate in the Wigs for Kids donation program; participating customers receive 50% off a fit and style as a thank you.

Also earning first place in the manicure-pedicure category, Jeffrey LaMorte Salon and Day Spa has seasoned and long-time employees, the latest equipment and a strong bond between clients and nail technicians, says LaMorte.
